Fight Review

December 7, 2011 December 7, 2011 by Johnny N 14 Comments

By popular demand, I’m offering an affordable way to improve your boxing skills via analysis of your fight videos.

  • For just $30, you can send me a YouTube link of your fighting or sparring video, and I’ll watch it for areas you can improve on.
  • What do you get? Within 3 business days of receipt of your video, I will reply to you with a Youtube video giving you my analysis on how you can hone your boxing technique and fighting strategy. Such details include: the things you do well, the things you don’t do well, and the little things that give away your opponent’s style so you can conquer him the next time around. As always, learning is a two-way street, so feel free to write back to me if you need more clarification on your fight review.

Good luck, boxers!
Johnny

Awesome, I’m definitely gonna take advantage of this. But it’ll definitely be a while before I have an official match.

Your site is really popular now, and you have a lot of content. Is this something that you will always do? I probably wont schedule a fight until early next year, and this would be more than helpful. Thanks

This is something I can offer now. At some point I’ll probably get too busy and either have to raise the price or stop offering altogether.

Thank you very much. I love the format (video). It helps me better understand what you are conveying. Your comments and advice are so insightful! I’ve watched and taken notes. I’ll do my best to put your advice into practice.

Hey Johnny is there a limit to how long our videos need to be??? im an amateur mma fighter and ive had only 4 fights that are all about 2min long except one that went 3x3min.

There is no minimum time, Lucas. I’ll watch up to 9 minutes of fight footage but if you have less, that’s ok as well. It might not be completely comprehensive but I can still see a lot even with only one round.

Would you review the punching/Boxing involved in Martial Art sparring?

Reply

Johnny N November 8, 2013 at 7:08 pm

I could do that to the best of my ability although I don’t imagine my advice to be as effective as one from from a coach of your sport. There may be different techniques and strategies that I don’t understand.

This is fantastic,
Now all i need is a video camera, and a sparring partner.

Amazing man was waiting for it! Thank you and I will work on everything you noted, also thanks feel a bit better of myself too. And yes the fights were about a month apart.
