Hey man congrats on finishing this it looks awesome…do you ship to the u.k?
Hey Willy,
These are actually digital products. The images are for demonstrative purposes. You’ll get instant download access to the pdf ebooks and video files! No need to wait for shipping.
hey there, i started boxing at the start of the year and looking at purchasing this once i pick up more fitness at my local boxing gym. Can you do a lot of the workouts without a trainer?
Hi David,
Some exercises do require a partner. You are free to improvise but it’s most helpful to work with a live person especially to develop your boxing drills. Nonetheless, you can skip those exercises and work with whatever you have. The book is most focused on quality instruction, and detailed breakdowns of fundamental boxing technique.
If you’re simply looking for a workout, I suggest checking out the “ExpertBoxing EASY Boxing Workout“.
i like the product, I thought it also comes with a book, that I can put in my shelve..Im going to save up and buy. Do you also have a book (paper)?
Sorry Don. Getting the book printed is very costly and complicated to negotiate with publishers. If you do buy the book, you are free to get it printed. There are some places online that can print single orders, but you will realize how costly it is considering that the book is a huge 300 pages and full of color pictures.
good going coach, this is the kind of stuff the boxing community needs to put out. to get new people into the sport. im sure it’s an awesome program with CORRECT easy to follow info. u deserve to gain success for what ure doing for boxing online.. and i bet the info on countering is probably going to be useful for some intermediate boxers as well (if u put in 60 counters i wonder how someone can learn that in 6 months forget 10 days ???)
Excellent question. I put in way too much stuff. Nonetheless, they have many options to choose from. In the book I recommend for people to only learn a few counters at a time. It’s a 10-day program but full of stuff for anybody to practice for even years.
Congrats Johnny. This 46 year old is healing up from some ankle surgery but will order soon. Looking forward to learning a lot and having a great resource to refer to often.
Thank you, Richard! I appreciate the support. Get well soon! (Your fans are missing you.)
Congrats Johnny.
good job buddy hope you make yourself some good money you deserve it
Thanks, Ant!
would you write a artical based on these things?
Come on Johnny! Been waiting ages for some more guides! Dont wanna buy stuff!!!!
Be grateful Boxerrrr that you’re getting any Boxing guides of this quality for free. The fact that Johnny even takes the time, the dedication and thought, to write out these guides is highly commendable. Believe it or not, this website costs money to run. Chances are that buying Johnny’s product will most likely insure that he will be able to keep writing guides in the future for free. So far, Johnny has probably been paying out of his pocket to keep this website going. The least we can do is pay the guy out of appreciation, if you can’t afford to do so, then there are other ways you can show your appreciation such as; remaining patient and not complaining about how long it takes for Johnny to write his guides (Johnny has a life too outside of ExpertBoxing) and recommending this site to others.
Very well said Laura. I don’t think people understand the magnitude of Johnny’s contributions to online boxing content. I’m sure there are many good boxers out there, and many more who also have the skill to teach, but there are only a few who take the time to share Quality knowledge and only ONE who makes this knowledge accessible to people who can’t afford a membership. People should take this Ebook as their chance to support the ‘good guy’ for all the years he spent writing articles for us. He didn’t have to.
And yeah, i’m sure he has lots of expenses, i.e. – website/cover designs, photographer, video editor (for the vids), data servers, and countless hours of his OWN TIME. Cmon folks.. that’s mad money out of his pocket, and for what? For people like BOXERRR to jump on every opportunity to get something for nothing? Find ways to support the site if you can’t afford the ebook. Like Laura says, share it with your friends.
Awesome, Johnny! I’m happy and proud of you man!
To those who don’t want to pay, there’s plenty of knowledge on this website to keep you going for a long time, especially if you’re a beginner.
Johnny puts in more work just into this site with more passion than most will ever know, he deserves every penny!!!!
Just a Q my man…I’m as good as a gorilla when it comes to CPU’s, if that, so when I purchase the material, can I open it on ANY computer? Or is it a one time open on the system only type of deal? Thanks my man, and congratulations on getting your stuff out there!
- Ron
Ron, you can definitely open the file on any computer. As long as your computer can read PDF files and MP4 videos, you’re good to go. Thank you for the support!
I just ordered the course Johnny, thanks for all your hard work. Although I’ve already been boxing for quite a while, I feel like I can always learn new ideas and techniques and your course looks to be a perfect addition to my training regimen.
Thank you for the support, J! The book is full of ideas so do come back and give us your thoughts. Good luck with your training.
Bought a copy hours ago and started reading. I’m only about 30 pages into it but i have to say, this book was much more than a review for me. I have to say, even for a seasoned boxer with amateur experience like myself, there’s a lot i could learn from this. Very well organized and i love the pictures. It makes the learning process easier. good job J! i hope you have more guides coming out, i’ll be first in line
Steve, I’m honored for the review. I’ll keep you in mind when more guides come out. Thank you for the support!
I bought it! Thanks Johnny for this incredible packed material. Very easy form to acquiere tons of useful boxing knowledge. In a certain way, now I had the privilege of keeping you like my assistant coach
. What a great honor!
You’re welcome, Spaniardguy! It’s my pleasure to help.
Thats awesome you finished all the material and put it out it in DVD and workbook form. This will be on my wishlist for boxing material for sure. I had a question that goes along with all this info. Have you or anyone else read Jack Dempsey’s self written manual on punching technique?
If anyone has do you think it is good technique to apply with modern boxing methods?
Its free in pdf form online. I think its called Championship Boxing.
Many people I know have read that book. It’s no secret, really. Many of the principles in there have always been used by boxers. It’s good technique but could probably be explained in far more detail considering we have all these technological advancements today with video, images, unlimited text space.
Wow, Johnny..Excellent. I will have to get this sometime in the near future.
Do it, Gil! And let me know how much it’s changed your game.
Just ordered mine and I have to say to everyone: this is an excellent guide and a perfect complement to the articles on the site. This is much more than the basics and has some secret stuff that you can’t find anywhere else on the Internet! To everyone out there who has a little cash left over: let’s show our support for Johnny and all of his hard work by buying a copy. It’s the least we can do for his efforts for putting in a solid 1-2 hours a day working on the free guides and videos, not to mention answering all of our “beginners” questions in the Comments section.
Thank you, Jake! I appreciate the support and glad you enjoyed. I hope you didn’t try to read all that in one day!
Looks good…I’ll be getting my copy asap.
Thanks, odolla. Don’t forget to comment back here after you check it out.
Johnny,
I only have a minute at the computer today, but so far…
I’ve only gotten to check out the written materials, and you do an absolutely excellent job of showing the different techniques. Honestly, I didn’t know there were so many variations to throwing the 1-2!
Actually, to be honest, just your explanation of the cross had me sharper in drilling and sparring yesterday. Excellent stuff…Great pictures, even better explanations.
Anyone interested in taking the first step into this beautiful sport we love, or want to brush up and evolve in what we love doing, I couldn’t recommend it highly enough, and I haven’t even had a chance to check the video guides out, definitely looking forward to that…keep up the great work Johnny!
- Ron
Ron, thank you for the awesome recommendation! I read and re-read your comment 20 times this morning. I’m really proud to hear you made instant adjustments and can’t wait to hear more updates from you.
i want it!bt can nt afford it

Johnny, you are truly the boss.
Thank you for your order, Gordon!
Hi Johnny! Congratulations!!! I’m definitely going to recommend this to my friends.. And I’ll buy one soon.
So excited to read and learn!!
Silly question( but this has always been my issue with boxing): Do u have tips in the book on how not to get tired easily?
You can find those tips on this website, H! But there are some tips for that in the book as well.
Congrats Johnny! Man I’m really happy for you and your accomplishments. You’ve been a great coach the past couple of years, thanks for everything!
Thank you for reading, Jay! Your words mean a lot.
Can the iPad plays MP4?
Yes it can…and thank you, Leonardo
I just upload the PDF’s and the videos to my iPad and I receive a message, the videos can’t be reproduced by the iPad. Somebody have a solution?
I’m looking up the solutions. I’ve heard of issues with Ipad playing large files or requiring another player to view mp4 files. Hang tight, everybody.
Hey Leonardo, have you tried using another media player. It seems like many people are getting around the issue of playing mp4′s by using another player. Let me know please…
I’ve implemented the option to download smaller files AND watch the videos directly from a protected login area.
Thank you, problem solved!
Hi Johnny. I’ve only recently discovered the site. The advice is great and layout easy to use. It’s sounds like your book is of a similar high quality and worth the money based on the comments above. My question relates to the fact that i’ve only recently taken up boxing as a means of exercise late in life (think mid 40s). I’m still a beginner and am looking at it as a great and challenging way to get fit….and really enjoy the sweet “science” part of it. Given all that…is this ebook suited for an old fart like me who is primarily in it for the fitness benefits? Also can many of the exercises be done without a partner?
Keep up the good work.
Canoz, I think you’ll find the book particularly enjoyable and very informative. You’ll find many boxing techniques and exercises using as much or little equipment as you have possible. It’s not required to have a partner unless you really want to develop your fighting skills. Thanks for stopping by.
Are there any in-fighting or body-punching tips in this? Thanks Johnny.
There are some body-punching tips and proper techniques for targeting the body and maybe a couple references to in-fighting but it doesn’t cover in-fighting strategy. This book covers fundamentals of boxing technique. Boxing strategy will be in a future release.
Article about phone booth would be great from you when you have time for it bro.
In the works right now, it’s a HUGE article.
Hi Johnny, thanks for your reply to my earlier post. Was going to go ahead and purchase…and download to my iPad. Then noticed in another post above you were looking into technical challenges with the iPad. Any updates? Does it work on the iPad (before i download)?
I don’t have an iPad but did research the issue. It seems like people are getting mp4 videos to work by using another media player. Worst case scenario, I’ll encode the videos in another format so this won’t be a problem.
I’ve implemented the option to download smaller files AND watch the videos directly from a protected login area.
Johnny
I finally got to check out the videos and enjoyed the excellent viewing with your simply no b.s. no ego approch. I found the books and videos both very informative. I’ve bought a few boxing DVDs over the years but I feel yours is the best I’ve come across as far as gaining a great insight into the basics of boxing. I’ve learnt more in the last few days from your lessons than the last six months at my local boxing club; sad but true. And the help and guidence and just the fact you emailed me back not once but several times over my download issues just shows your integrity and not in it for a buck attitude and more of wanting to pass on your knowledge. I would not hesitate to recommend your program to any one starting out in boxing or even any one looking at self defence.
Well done, mate.

I can easily say that this is a great read, regardless of being a beginner or even someone who has been in the sport for some time. For beginners it’s really easy to follow and the pictures add even greater depth. Not everyone can just read something and learn it, that itself allows for multiple opportunities for others. Especially for learning specific techniques and proper form. The videos themselves are an added bonus. In regards to more experienced boxers, this book acts as a reference guide and a way to humble ourselves at how far we’ve come and when it comes to building a boxer’s foundation going back to the basics is the best way at it. Even as basic as re-learning how to throw a punch or even our own foot placement. We can never stop learning something new, even if it goes back to where we started. Hands down an outstanding book, that is not only very knowledgeable and at least for myself in a way, nostalgic.
Hey dude, this is gonna sound like a stupid question but I gotta ask. How much would it cost for me just to get the info about the counter punches. Your strategy and knowledge is much needed here. I want some counter punching options i can use. I got everything else down; I’ve been boxing for a couple of years but it always seems at the gym, nobody has any actual counter punches. I need it bra. Thanks!
I won’t sell the ebook in parts but I’ll be posting up more counter punching combinations from time to time, all free of charge. You can also come up with your own counters — find a way to counter any punch with any punch. If you’ve got a few years experience on you it won’t take you more than a week to figure some new counters. Or you can watch passive counter-punchers like Juan Manuel Marquez for some ideas too.
Thanks Johnny. We all appreciate your dedication to this sport.
I’m sorry for being lazy to read the reviews to get the answers but wanted to know as a future buyer when we purchase this masterpiece do u mail the dvds or is the video footage all downloadable online? Thanks a
lot for Ur time, effort, dedication and heart for not only this site but ur book and being what it sounds like a cool coach.
Everything is digital. You’ll get instant access to download the ebooks and videos so no waiting for shipping times. I do work hard so thank you for the support, Eli!
You have one of the best boxing books I’ve ever read.
